R&D Co-Innovation Fund

The R&D Co-Innovation Support Fund is there to provide applied research for companies to address specific agronomic or technical bottlenecks in the vegetable sector. The private sector, again, is in the lead for these proposals, though public partners (knowledge institutes) are required for implementation. Both funds require 50% co-financing from the private sector, the other 50% is provided as a grant by the GhanaVeg program. Additional, backstopping expertise is provided by GhanaVeg through Wageningen University and Research centre, Applied Plant Research. Results from the R&D Fund will be presented in the Business Platform.
